The Metro Moncton School of Music has taught music lessons to thousands of students since opening in the year 2000. In 2008 we opened our second location, The Dieppe School of Music. Our music classes are offered at our school, conveniently located at 331 Acadia ave. in Dieppe, N.B.

Our qualified music teachers have experience teaching children and adults. The lessons are all conducted in our individual teaching rooms. Parents are welcome to sit in on the lessons or observe the classes through our glass doors.

What is the best age to start taking music lessons?

The earliest we recommend starting music lessons for children is 5 years old. Students younger than 5 can have difficulty reaching the distance between keys or frets because of hand size. Adults can get started at any age. We have had several beginner students in their 70’s and even a few in their 80’s!
